Owl Cottage stands in the centre of the farm with private access from a quiet country road. It has a southern outlook with views from the upstairs windows which stretch down to the river.

The property was upgraded late last year with new bathrooms, new carpets and curtains and fresh paint. The main entrance leads straight into a well equipped, good sized eat-in kitchen, with a typical country feel. There is a country dresser and a round table which seats four.

The sitting room has a flat screen television with digital freeview. There are two comfortable chairs and an EXTREMELY comfortable sofa, an open fire and stacks of dvds, games and books in case it rains! A supply of logs is included in the price of the cottage.

Through the hall you will find a tiny room with the boiler in it, plentiful hanging space for coats and the iron and ironing board. Opposite is the downstairs loo and shower room, recently re-done, which also has a pulley for drying clothes. (There is also a washing line in the garden).

Upstairs there is a large sunny landing with loads more books and a chair to sit and browse through them. Off the landing are the two bedrooms, both right under the eaves, which are prettily decorated in a neutral style. Each bedroom has a chest of drawers and hanging space. The bedlinen is 100% white cotton, professionally laundered.

Opposite the bedrooms is the upstairs bathroom which is new and very spacious, with fluffy white towels.

Outside there is a wonderful large enclosed garden which is great for children and pets. There is an outside seating area with a barbecue for fine summer evenings. The cottage also boasts its own flock of chickens so you can collect your own eggs for breakfast.

If you have a hobby which requires lots of bulky gear, there is an outside stable suitable for storing anything from bikes to fishing tackle.
