Large Houses

Birdwatching
In the spring and early summer especially the Farne Islands are a fantastic day out. Whilst it's a bit of a trip (over an hour away) you can get a boat out to the islands to enjoy the wildlife.

The Coast
The coast is only 15 mins away, with the pretty fishing village of St Abbs and our nearest beach at Coldingham Bay, which is very family friendly and good for surfing. If you wish to travel slightly further afield, there is Scremerston Beach south of Berwick (25 mins) and the beaches around Holy Island (35-40 mins).
