Owl Cottage nestles in the Whiteadder Valley, just 2 ½ miles from the pretty market town of Duns, an excellent central location which combines proximity to the coast and many tourist attractions in the Scottish Borders.

The cottage is located on our family farm, Primrosehill, which is a mixed farm with beautiful topography. The Whiteadder River (renowned for kingfishers) forms the boundary to the south and west of the farm. The land varies from the fertile plains down by the river to a much hillier, wild landscape to the north of the farm. The whole farm is a haven for wildlife and birds and is wonderful for walking.

The stunning Berwickshire coast is within 15 minutes drive, boasting pretty fishing villages, a wonderful coastal walk and beautiful beaches with opportunities to surf and dive.

Owl Cottage is also brilliantly located for keen golfers being within striking distance of a host of wonderful courses. The Lammermuirs and the Southern Upland Way are just up the road, and all around there are pretty border towns and rolling countryside to explore. And for those of you whose don’t want to get away from all of it, Edinburgh is within an hour’s drive.

Owl Cottage is a pretty, detached farm cottage with its own private entrance and secluded garden. The property has been thoughtfully and tastefully presented to provide maximum comfort and opportunities to relax.

The cottage sleeps four, with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and two bathrooms.
